Thessaloniki airport have currently closed their main runway due to maintenance work. A temporary runway is open; however the risks associated with the proposed temporary operations are not acceptable to easyJet, therefore we have made the decision to operate flights via alternative airports.
Between 7th and 21st December inclusive, we will operate our flights via Kavala and will provide coaches to transport customers between Thessaloniki and Kavala.
Between 22nd December and 6th March we will operate our flights via Kavala. If this option is not suitable for customers we ask them to contact our Customer Services Team who will help them to find an alternative option.
Affected customers are notified via SMS and Email, and we recommend all customers booked to travel to Thessaloniki to check our Flight Tracker before travelling to the airport.
We will continue to review the situation over the coming weeks and will keep customers updated on our travel page, via SMS, Email and Flight Tracker.
